Microgaming again exhibits socially responsible behaviour in the UK

Being a socially responsible company, Microgaming takes pride in their PlayIt Forward initiative.
This program focuses on health, charity, sports and education, as one of the most important topics for a thriving community. Launched in 2014, the initiative assists in scholarship programs, sporting sponsorships and raising funds for various charitable organizations.
New Year, New Challenge
In the spirit of social awareness, Microgaming will once again be present in this year’s Isle of Man Marathon and Half-Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, August 13.
First held in 2009, the Isle of Man Marathon is among top 10 events of this kind held in the United Kingdom. The race is organized by the Isle of Man Veteran Athlete’s Club, and takes place on a course located in the north of the island, with two laps of the course – 42 kilometres in total.
The Latest Addition
The eighth edition of the Manx race (since the event wasn’t held in 2012) includes a four-leg relay race, where four team members will split the full marathon distance on equal parts. The organizers said this race was created to attract new runners to the track.
Last year’s Marathon and Half-Marathon saw the total of 448 entries, with each and every competitor crossing the finish line, which was a huge success. The organizers expect the event to attract even more visitors and competitors this year.
