Sweden-based NetEnt can be satisfied with this year’s results since the company managed to achieve a record-breaking raise in revenue.

Over the first quarter of 2017, NetEnt’s revenues rose to $44.2 million – which is a hefty increase of 15.2%. During this period, the company’s operating profit rose by 6.3% when compared to the same period of 2016.

Next Stop – Canada

Since NetEnt is a well-known name in the industry, its business plans are always ambitious. When speaking about their short-term goals, one of the most important ones is aimed at entering the highly competitive North American gambling market.

The first steps towards reaching the western shores of Atlantic Ocean were made in October last year when NetEnt announced the company had applied for a license to become one of the suppliers for the PlayNow.com website, owned and operated by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).

According to Per Eriksson, the Chief Executive Officer of NetEnt, the company expects to receive the license in the following months.

Always Pushing Forward

NetEnt has been present on the market for more than two decades, providing high-quality games for some of the world’s leading operators.

Last year, the company announced a first of its kind virtual reality slot. Games like Jack and the Beanstalk and Gonzo’s Quest are expected to lead the way in this market area.

This year, NetEnt celebrates 15 years from the launch of its first casino. Much has changed since then, but the drive and motivation to push forward has stayed the same, as well as the passion for delivering only the very best in gaming.
