Blueprint Gaming Announces Newest Merger With Livewire Gaming

Developer and content-supplier, Blueprint Gaming has acquired the UK-based games developer, Livewire Gaming.

It’s always important for Canadian users to know where their games come from. Many users will even have their favourite suppliers – whether that’s the most popular companies like NetEnt and Microgaming or a provider which is a little more niche.

Blueprint Gaming is showing signs of becoming one of the truly leading figures in the online casino industry and this acquisition is proof of that. The UK-based company is owned by the German Gauselmann Group but has continued to make strides in recent years.

Blueprint specialises in Category C, B3, D, and B4 games for the UK market but has created for a more international audience. Players in Canada will be more than familiar with some of their titles as Blueprint aims to become a true key player in the industry.

The company is already a major player in the bricks-and-mortar industry. Blueprint has over 10,000 machines in bricks-and-mortar casinos across Europe. It has also been hugely influential on the online industry with some massively popular online slot releases down the years.

A Close Relationship

Now, Blueprint Gaming has completed the purchase of Livewire Gaming, an independent company from the UK.

“Livewire and Blueprint have had a close relationship for many years, so this merger makes perfect sense for both parties,” said the UK General Manager for the Gauselmann Group, Sascha Blodau.

“We look forward to working with Livewire and building on our already successful partnership.”

This is just the latest in a series of deals which Blueprint hopes will take them to the very top. Earlier this year, the company completed the purchase of the developer, Project Coin and just last year, completed the major acquisition of Games Warehouse.

No doubt, Blueprint hopes that this will put them right up there in the online casino industry. This is a company that wants to be considered amongst the very around and is taking major steps along that road. We’ll keep you updated with the latest online casino acquisitions and news.
