Gaming Nation Canada buys UK-based BD Sport for nearly C$18 million
Canadian Gaming Nation is expanding its portfolio into the stadium betting services industry, with the latest acquisition being the British BD Sports Group.
One of the leading providers of stadium betting services in the United Kingdom was purchased for a total of C$17.9 million.
Ontario-based company paid C$14.4 million for the UK firm, with additional provisions adding the remaining C$3.5 million.
With the transaction completed, Gaming Nation has become the sole owner of BD Sport Ltd., BD Stadia Ltd. and BD Deportes SL.

Founded in 2007, BD Sport operates at 31 stadium in the UK and is at the very top when it comes to in-stadia advertising. Also, BD Sport offers match day betting to its clients, with the service being available across the Premier League. The list of clubs the company had the pleasure of doing business with includes Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
